These decorative beads were inspired by the differnt tones of blue that swirl in the seas and oceans, showing many shades of blues to greys with a beautifull aboloni shell lunetta as a centrepeice to higlight the mercurial nature of water echoed in further spirals and tricicles thoughout the design.
 
In History Viking beads were not only seen as forms of beautiful decoration but also as a way of showing off their wealth and even more interestingly a form of rudimentary currency, as metal was a more rare substance during the viking era it has been documented that when purchasing goods vikings may break off bits of metal from their beads and use them to pay for their purchase.
 
Expose these beads to sunlight and you will reveal that in the dark they have a mystical green glow!
